Wow, this past weekend was a whirlwind of cake and celebration! My family came to visit, and it was a party extravaganza from start to finish. Imagine this: cake after cake after cake—yes, I’m serious, haha! It was a blast, filled with laughter, joy, and that much-needed family time.

Our festivities kicked off right at the stroke of midnight on the 27th. We dove into our birthday tradition by singing a rousing round of “Happy Birthday” to Ryenn with a tiny cake and candles. Nothing like starting the party with a sweet note!

Then, as the sun rose, we moved on to a delightful Baby Sprinkle Brunch. The two weekend birthday girls each had their own scrumptious slice of chocolate cake from the restaurant, and my sisters surprised us with a Chantilly cake for the sprinkle celebration. So far, that’s four cakes, if you’re keeping count!

But wait, there’s more! On the 28th, we headed to a mini water park for Ryenn and Mj’s birthday bash. We went all out with a birthday package and spent the entire day splashing around. The girls had an absolute blast, and yes, there was even more cake to keep the party vibes going.

As the clock struck midnight on the 29th, we carried on with our tradition, singing “Happy Birthday” to Mj—yup, another cake and candles were involved! That’s how we roll.

In between all these festivities, we squeezed in some birthday shopping at the mall and discovered an amazing brunch spot. I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner! Our first visit featured a mind-blowing Soft Shell Crab Scramble—seriously, it was out of this world. We also shared Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes that were pure magic. The food was fantastic, and the staff, especially our waitress, were top-notch.

We enjoyed brunch there again before my family headed back home. This time, I tried the Huevos Rancheros with Chorizo, and we shared the Bourbon Street Pancakes—absolute perfection! If you ever spot this place called Another Broken Egg location, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

So there you have it—our weekend was a delicious, fun-filled adventure with plenty of cake and great company. Until next time!
