Kalua Pork

Hawaiian Slow Roasted Pork

Ingredients

  • 5-7 lbs. of Pork Butt

  • 2 tsp. Salt

  • 1 tsp. Pepper

  • 1 ½ tbsp. Liquid Smoke

  • 1  Head of Cabbage (sliced)

Preparation

  • Sear Pork Butt on skillet till browned on all sides. 

  • Add Pork, Salt, Pepper, and Liquid Smoke to Crock Pot.

  • Cover and set on low for 8-12 hours

  • About an hour before serving add Sliced Cabbage, allow it to cook for the rest of the hour or till your liking. 

  • Shred pork and mix prior to serving. 

  • Pairs well over White Rice.
